As part of the modernisation of this charming cottage in Reading, our clients chose a pair of luxury slim steel frame glass doors to complement their new interior.

In the kitchen, space was at a premium with an island positioned directly in front of the doorway. To solve this, we installed our clever space-saving sliding doors, finished with on-trend reeded glass. This design allows the snug to be closed off when needed while maximising light flow and maintaining a sense of openness.

For the second feature, a single door with fixed side panel was added between the kitchen and entrance hallway. This option is perfect for awkward-size openings and makes the most of the stunning garden view, which is now visible as soon as you step inside the home. The clear glass, set in our ever-popular Deco design style, creates a timeless look that never falls out of fashion.

The result is a bright, breezy and family-friendly space — a seamless blend of modern living and classic steel and glass design.
