Working closely with the client, iSteel supplied three handcrafted steel glazing systems, including FD30 30-minute fire-rated doors, internal double doors with side panels, and pocket sliding steel doors, each individually manufactured here in the UK to the client’s exact requirements.
A standout feature is the pair of 180° opening double doors, allowing the leaves to fold completely back against the side panels. The result is a seamless transition between living spaces, combining the flexibility of open-plan living with the option to create separate, private rooms whenever required.
Where this project truly stands apart is its continuity of design. Many modern homes require a combination of fire-rated and non-fire-rated internal steel doors, yet these often differ noticeably in appearance.
