Domestic, Lymington
Framing fine wine through timeless steel and glass.
Set within the quaint coastal charm of Lymington, this refined Georgian home called for an intervention that felt quietly confident rather than showy.
Bespoke steel and glass doors by iSteel were introduced to frame the new wine experience room, positioned to be enjoyed from the family space beyond. Finished in a classic textured black, the design is deliberately delicate with slim sightlines and clean proportions that sit comfortably within the home’s Georgian architecture.
A discreet drop seal was integrated to help maintain temperature control, ensuring the room performs as beautifully as it looks. Through the clear glass, soft ambient lighting draws the eye, turning the wine room into a feature in its own right, enticing, elegant, and impossible to ignore.
The result is a space that elevates the ritual of wine tasting while remaining a luxurious visual centrepiece: bespoke, understated, and perfectly in tune with the character of this beautiful coastal property.
