Sheffield Project – Sliding Steel Room Divider for a Multi-Functional Home

In this Sheffield property, the brief was exactly that: introduce a sense of separation between the lounge and the home office, reduce noise transfer, and still maintain the bright, flowing feel of the space. The solution needed to be beautiful, space-saving, and completely in tune with the client’s contemporary interior.
Our bespoke sliding steel and glass doors delivered the perfect answer. The slim sightlines keep the two zones visually connected, allowing natural light to bounce throughout the home, while the glazed panels gently dampen sound and provide just enough division for work and relaxation to coexist. The sliding mechanism also maximises space, ideal for tighter areas where a hinged door simply wouldn’t work.
